Hundreds of participants of Second Life know and love the clothes at Wetherby's. We appreciate the high quality, the daily free dresses and extras like being able to get a matching pair of shoes or a jacket for just 20 Lindens.
Just like RL, SL isn't fair, but someone pulled a horrendous stunt on Mrs W. and abused land ownership to remove her store and others, costing them hundreds of real world dollars -- rent paid in advance -- and countless hours of effort. This was done only for spite.
So we're getting the word out. In a virtual world, reputation is everything.

What's happened?
Second Life store owners can lose plenty if the person they rent land from decides to play them dirty. This happened today. The target was a very generous clothing creator, Mrs. Wetherby.

All that have benifited from Ale's kindness and friendship are invited to make a donation to her. Many of us have made donations and will continue to canvas for her. Any amount (lindens) will help. Just pay her directly from her profile and help her get money to setup a new store as soon as she can. Thanks to all that can helps... huggggsss

ReplyDeleteAlejandra is terrific. She is incredibly generous and works really hard to provide high-quality clothing in a very nice store. Nobody deserves what happened to her, least of all Ale.
I donated what I could afford to Alejandra Jumanya, and I hope that you will do the same, so she can reopen her business and get back to doing what she loves -- providing one of the very best and most fun stores in SL.

ReplyDeleteIt is a shame that SL has rules about harassment, but then does nothing when something like this occurs. If this is not harassment in the truest sense of the word, what is?
I donated a little to the cause, but could not afford much. If each of us would donate just 20 a piece, it would add up quickly. All of you other lovely ladies and girls, and you few men who received one of those free suits too, I am sure you can come up with at least that much.
Wetherby's is a lovely store and I am sure we all want to see it continue. I just adore the lovely dresses and accessories, much more ladylike than some other places. Let us all support the effort to bring Wetherby's back to its rightful place in SL.
I have little time in SL, and Wetherby's house was the first I met, from those first moments, I consider the house as something Wetherby's mine, where I have always been very well received by Alejandra, Karen Darling.

So I think it horrible what is happening, and I bring all my friends support and love, and always in this Spanish, you'll have a woman who admires and respects your work lot.
I send a warm embrace and a kiss, and I hope that these horrible events end up very well for you, because you do not deserve to do that.

Llevo poco tiempo en SL,y la casa Wetherby´s fue la primera que conoci, desde esos primeros momentos, considero la casa Wetherby´s como algo mio, donde siempre he sido muy bien recibida por Alejandra, Darling y Karen.
Con Alejandra me une nuestra parte hispana, es una mujer admirable, que cada día ofrece unos diseños FANTASTICOS, siempre amable, cariñosa, muy cálida en el trato y muy cercana.
Por eso me parece horrible lo que está pasando, y quiero ofrecerte Alejandra todo mi apoyo y cariño, y que siempre en esta española, vas a tener una mujer que te admira y respeta muchisimo tu trabajo.
Te mando un cariñoso abrazo y un beso, y espero que estos horribles acontecimientos terminen muy bien para ti, porque no te mereces que te hagan eso.
